I'm not really surprised because I know how popular bleach is, the manga itself has a big fan base. Honestly I was expecting the sales to be in the six figure range.

Previous launches such as Monster Hunter G and Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon easily reached the six figure range on their first week, but the Japanese gaming market has been moving slow this month, and also the global recession is taking it's toll on the industry but nevertheless it was a good week for bleach.

And it should do just as well when it launches in other countries and regions, I'm not a big fan of bleach but I would like to test it out and see how good it is. I always look for good sales and good reviews before I buy games and bleach could be on my list.

Bleach launched on the 11Th of may and by the 17Th of May it became the best selling game by topping the PSP games charts with an impressive 41,600 units sold.

From May 11-17, 2009
Game Sales:
1 - Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 (Sony PSP) - 41.6k
2 - Growlanser (Sony PSP) - 23k
3 - Dragon Ball Kai: Saiyajin Raishuu (Nintendo DS) - 20.3k
4 - Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon (Nintendo DS) - 15.6k
5 - WarioWare Myself (Nintendo DS) - 15.2k
6 - Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (Sony PSP) - 15.2k
7 - Winning Eleven Playmaker 2009 (Nintendo Wii) - 14.2k
8 - Wii Fit (Nintendo Wii) - 10.7k
9 - Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! I had to get mine fixed twice for dropping it and the second time was to replace the screen because it had a lot of scratches, and no I didn't give it to my cat to play with. In fact I don't even know how it happens, you just notice it when it's too late.

I read about scratch resistant guards but I didn't pay too much attention to them, I though they won't help much and that you would have to keep buying new ones but what I didn't know was that there were reusable scratch screen guards available. Now this is something that caught my interest because not only will it guard the PSP console from scratches but the best part is that you can reuse it.

Now once you have your scratch guard, you want to make sure you install it onto your PSP console very carefully. You don't wanna mess it up or your going to end up with little bubbles on your screen because of the traped air, and that can get really annoying. I myself had trouble getting it on without making mistakes no matter what I did, I still ended up with those little bubbles so I looked for advice online.

It didn't take long to find good advice online if you google "how to install PSP screen guard" you should find what your looking for. Well after I did research I found that the best way to do it is to firstly coat the screen guard with a film of ph balanced soap such as baby shampoo but it has to be very diluted. This technique is also used by professionals window installers.

But anyway, If you can try and install it using soap than you would get better results. I was very careful when doing it, I would advise you to have someone to assist you so that you don't make mistakes and once everything is done you will have a PSP screen resistant guard which you won't even notice because of the clean finish.

Is it worth buying a PSP travel case?

Not everyone likes to travel with their psp console without a travel case, Well I'm not one of those people but there are people who like to keep things safe. You know, the careful type. I personaly think a travel case makes the PSP console look less cool, I like to showcase the cool slick design of the handheld console and mine is black by the way.

Well I've done some digging and I've found some great deals on Amazon for PSP travel cases, you can always look on eBay but I don't trust the sellers there since they aren't legitimate sole traders. On Amazon I saw the PSP Super travel case with pockets for only $9.99.

The good thing about this travel case is that it can store upto 6 UMD games, well that really doesn't matter for me since I have all my games stored on my memory stick. But 6 UMD games should be enough to statisfy you during your travels. And it also has space to store other accessories such as headphones and memory sticks.

And on the product page at Amazon you can see that it has good reviews from people we bought the travel case. I really don't do a lot of traveling and even when I do travel it's not that far, Well I don't leave the country. However if I were to go abroad I would definitley buy myself that PSP travel case.

Unless you can't help yourself from showing off your psp console then it wouldn't hert to buy a travel case to keep your PSP console safe, or if you buy travel insurance then you can relax because you can claim for another PSP console if something happens.

Sony is rumoured to launch a PSP game rental service!

In one of Sony's long list of developments a PSP game rental service is rumoured to be added to the list, which may be one of their subjects at E3. Now before you go off thinking Sony is going to ditch the UMD game cartridges, they have made it clear that for now they will stick with the UMD, and the ability to download games is just an additional features that comes with the PSP console.

Now when you think about it, this new PSP game rental service would put the handheld console in the same battle zone as the Apple Ipod touch. Which by surprise has picked up a lot of popularity for gaming on-the-go. It has even attracted major players in the gaming industry such as EA and Gameloft who both have specifically developed games for the Ipod touch.

Just as you would expect when there's a rumour, Sony avoided the subject by not commenting on it, well they don't want to talk about it before E3. So it look likes we have to wait until Sony is ready to spill the beans at the show and John Koller himself has hinted that there will be lots of announcements made.

Now, according to Joystiq.com they have allegedly seen screenshots of online surveys issued by Sony, about the PSP game rental service. The game rental service will allow the PSP user to download games during the period of their subscription. No one knows how many games will be available to download but that may very depending on the subscription level.

In addition to all this there are rumours that Sony is looking at enabling the PSP user to also buy and download music onto their handheld console, However this is still in the early stages of discussion, nothing solid yet and I don't think Sony will be making announcements anytime soon.

PSP Games Download

If you’re searching for cheap PSP games then look no further. If you have a Sony PSP console then you are in luck. Are you aware that you can download PSP games for free? Yes it’s true. Now instead of purchasing PSP games at the retail store I suggest you trying another method to getting your PSP games.

Companies on the Internet are now selling memberships for PSP games and other downloads. You can find various websites out there that are devoted to delivering the hottest new PSP games available to their customers.

Like I mentioned earlier, instead of wasting a lot of your hard earned money on a single game you should just join a PSP download website and only pay monthly fee which works out just fine because it’s the same amount of money you would normally spend and the upside to this is that now you have the ability to access and download hundreds of games including music and movies.

The main things you will need in order to Download PSP Games, Movies and Music For PSP console is a USB Cable, PSP Video Converter, and I suggest you get a 1GB Memory stick if you don’t have one however a 256mb or 512mb will be fine.

Once you have the all the items listed above you can start learning how to Download Games and Movies for PSP console immediately. And the process is so simple anyone can do it. All you have to do is go to your membership website and choose the game that you want to download onto your PSP console.

Once you find the game you want to download you just download it onto your computer and don’t forget to make sure the game is compatible with the version of firmware that is on your PSP console.

And also you need to make sure that the file you download ends with PSP. After you done that you simply insert your PSP memory stick into your PSP console and connect your PSP console to your computer via your USB cable.

At this point you just copy the game onto your PSP console and make sure you place the game under the “PSP”, “GAMES” folder on your memory stick. If do not have this folder on your memory stick then it’s no problem, you can simply create one.

That’s all, like I said “it’s so simple anyone can do it”. Well now you can now fire up your game and enjoy.

And that’s not all

If you want to go a step further like many other PSP fans, including myself, by pushing their PSP console to the max. You may want more options, more games, and not forgetting a folder full of Movies for your PSP console.

You should try searching the internet for PSP Game Emulator.

From my experience, an emulator is the secret to a world of PSP fun. Basically a PSP Game Emulator is software developed to make your PSP console act like another type of game console. For example you could load up games from your PS2 and play them on your Sony PSP console.

When you find The PSP emulator you simply just download it onto your memory stick and run the hack. A lot of the PSP game hacks come with simple to follow instructions that will make things really simple for you.

PSP Movie Download

Have you by any chance heard of any PSP download websites? Well let me explain, A PSP download website gives members access to download PSP movies without any charges on their half, and you won’t get in trouble because it’s 100% legal and doesn't require a lot to complete the process.

From my experience I can say it’s very easy to download free movies for the PSP console only if you know the best resources, like I mentioned earlier, it’s free and you do it in no time, well I mean it will not take you days to finish downloading, to be honest most of the files can be downloaded in mere minutes.

Yes I can sense your excitement. If you would like to know where you can download movies for your PSP console for free then I have the answer for you. It’s pretty simple actually, you can have access to a whole library of music, movies, TV shows, episodes, games and more other great stuff with PSP download websites. You just have to search for them on Google, be sure to read the members reviews to make sure they are good enough to join.

This may all sound great but you may get stuck on the way to downloading PSP movies and typically the first problem you will encounter when thinking of Downloading Movies onto PSP console is that the PSP console needs to have the movies in the MP4 format in order to watch them on your PSP console. You may find that most of the movies available online are usually in WMV,AVI or DIVX formats.

Not to worry because you can easily get around this little problem by finding yourself a good PSP Video converter which basically is a tool that converts the normal movie files into the required MP4 format so they will play on the PSP console. Again, you can find this tool be searching for it on Google.

And there’s another little problem related to the screen. This is because the size of the PSP's screen is not compatible so you are required to make adjustments on the converter so that the screen looks right when watching movies. I would suggest that you make the screen resolution 320x240 because it will give you the best results.

Now let’s get started with the whole process of downloading the movies onto your PSP console. You firstly need to connect your PSP console to your computer via USB cable. You need to be careful don’t force the USB cable into the connector.

Now moving on to the PSP, you need to use the buttons to navigate and select the settings menu and scroll all the way down until you find the "USB connection" menu and then the press X button. After you done that, the computer should then recognize the PSP console as a new drive. It should show up as 'E', or 'F'.

Now you need to select the PSP memory card and navigate to the folder labelled as PSP. You need to create a folder inside the PSP folder, you should name it "MP_ROOT". And inside this folder you need to create another one called "100MNV01".

The next step is to just copy the movies from your computer to the "100MNV01" folder on the PSP memory card. It’s very important that you always download your movies to this folder on the PSP console or you won’t be able to play them.

Finally to start watching your movies, you simply just navigate to the "Video" section of your PSP console select the movie you would like to watch and press the X button. There you go, now you can enjoy your movies!

PSP Music Download

Are you a looking to add more things to your PSP console, as you may know the PSP console is not only limited to games but the PSP console can also play music, watch videos, display photos and you can also go online and surf the internet. If you are interested in having music in your PSP console I can guide you through it in a simple 1-2 step process.

One thing you should consider before downloading music onto your PSP console is that, you should download your music from a reputable legal download membership website. You can search for a PSP download membership website, read customer reviews, ask people in forums or you can use yahoo answers and you will most likely have someone refer you to a 100% legal download website.

Once you find a website that you like sign up and you will have access to all the music files you want and simply pick the file you want to download and download it onto your computer.

This process will require you to have two important pieces of software in order for the music files you download onto your PSP console to work. The first thing you will need is a CD Ripper which basically is a tool that will allow you to convert audio files to different formats. For example you can change a music file from your CD to an MP3 format for it to work on your PSP console.

And the other piece of important software you will require to play Music on your PSP console is a PSP Video Converter and this will also help you to convert movies to different formats such as MP4 that are generally used by the PSP console.

After you have all the important pieces of software you firstly need to open the CD Ripper Software to convert all the music files into MP3 format and when you finish that you need to use the PSP Video Converter software to make the file compatible for your PSP console.

Your next and final step is to transfer your music files to your PSP console, and you can do this by connecting your PSP to your PC via USB cable and simply copy the all files you downloaded into H: PSP MUSIC and you are done. Just like I said, you can do it all in a 1-2 step. Nice and Easy!

PSP Video Download

To begin the process of downloading free PSP Video you will need a memory stick or somewhere to save the Video files that you’re going to download. I strongly suggest that you get yourself a 1GB memory stick if you are going to be downloading videos for your PSP frequently. You can just check eBay, I'm sure you can find a great deal on a 1GB PSP memory stick.

After you have your memory stick ready the next thing you have to do is check your version of firmware for your PSP console. You will need a 1.5 version in order to able to download free PSP video and play them, if your firmware is a higher version then there are ways to downgrade your firmware to the required level.

To start downloading PSP videos for free, you will need to switch your off PSP console, and then connect your PSP to your PC via USB, once you don’t that switch your PSP console back on. On to the PSP go to the PSP access - Settings > USB connection. And Press X to boot your PSP console on your computer, and your PSP console should appear as an untitled volume on your computer.

Within the memory stick you should be able to see a folder named 'PSP', which consists of 4 sub folders: 'Music', 'Games', 'SavedData' and 'Photo'. You will need to add an additional folder and name it 'MP_ROOT', this folder must be in the same level as the 'PSP' folder. Under the 'MP_ROOT', you will need to add a sub folder and name it '100MNV01' – This is where you will be bale to download the free PSP video.

Now this is the best part where you choose which videos or audio files you want to put on your PSP console. As you may already know, you can even download your favourite shows onto your PSP console. There are so many video clips, movies and TV shows to choose from you’re spoiled for choice!

Since your PSP console is already connected to the PC. Just simply, drag and drop your selected video files that you want to put into your PSP console. And you need remember that the number of songs and videos you put on your PSP depends on the size of the memory stick you have, that’s why it’s a good idea to get at least 1GB memory stick.

Once you done that then the fun part begins. Now you know how to download MP4 videos onto your PSP console. After downloading the videos onto your PSP, just select the following options. "Video" then ‘memory stick’. To play any of the videos you downloaded, select the relevant thumbnail gallery picture and click on it. And that’s all folks, now you can officially download PSP video.

PSP Internet

If you have a PSP console then you should know that you can access the Internet. However a lot of people don’t know how to set up the internet connection for their PSP console so in this guide I will teach you how to set up the internet connection and get you accessing the Internet with your PSP console.

The main things you will need is of course a PSP console and access to a wifi network. Firstly you will need to turn your PSP console on and enable the wifi connectivity by flipping the switch on the left of your PSP up into the arm position. Now you will need to go the settings icon on the PSP main screen and simply press the X button.

Once you done that you have to scroll down and select the network settings options and from there you have to select the infrastructure mode by pressing the X button, moving from there select create new settings and you will be required to enter a name for the new connection with the directional keys.

In the WLan setting select scan with the X button, and after you PSP console scans and brings back results you will have to select your network’s SSID and enter your Wifi security settings if necessary. Moving on from there you will find the address settings, select easy and your PSP console should automatically get an IP address from your Wifi router.

After you done that you will need to confirm the settings with the X button and once you done that you should test the connecting by pressing the X button again. The information about the network should be displayed showing that the PSP was set up correctly, once when you done that press X to end the test.

Now you have to go back to the main menu on the PSP console and select the browser option and try entering any web address and if your settings were successful your PSP should display the website.

And that’s all folks, now you now how to access the internet using your PSP wirelessly. You can surf the web, read articles, chat, or even play games. I love feature because it’s very hand if you are apart of a PSP download membership website. You can download media files for your PSP console without using your computers.

If you haven’t already joined a PSP download membership website you should really think about it because ultimately it saves you a lot of money on games I highly recommend you join one.

PSP Accessories

If you own a PSP console, then it’s important to get yourself PSP Accessories. Accessories for your PSP console are important because they will help you in taking good care of your portable gaming device. And also PSP accessories can make your PSP more interesting by adding more features.

Over the past few years, a lot of changes have been made on the PSP console and great features have been added on to the PSP to enhance the gaming experience. With this said the PSP accessory helps not only by making the gaming system more user friendly.

On my opinion PSP accessories will not only help make your PSP console more advanced, but they will also make it easier for you to repair it and take good care of your PSP console. The main PSP accessories used are the following. The PSP Memory Stick, PSP main charger, PSP car chargers, PSP scratch removers, PSP USB Charger and Data Cable.

Memory Stick: With this accessory you will be bale to add more power to your PSP, you can save a lot more media files like your photos music or even games and movies if your apart of a PSP download membership website. So you can add a lot of stuff to your PSP console with this accessory Car Charger: With this accessory you will have the ability to enjoy your gaming console even while you are on the road. This will keep your PSP charged up, very hand when you are on a long journey.

Some people like to go further with PSP accessories, they like to personalize their PSP console. Some people will have decorative accessories all over their PSP, and decorative accessories can include anything from stickers to diamonds. If you have the money you can customize it to your PSP console to your satisfaction.

But if you’re like me and can’t afford those expensive diamond accessories then you wouldn’t mind the cheaper ones like face plates which is my best accessory because you can have people put your own designs and then install the face plates on your PSP console to make it look really cool.

Face plates are a replacement for the front, or face, of your PSP console, so you will need to actually remove the original faceplate that comes with your PSP console. I find this very useful because if your faceplate gets a lot of scratches or worn out then you can simply remove it with a better faceplate. You can find good PSP faceplate's on eBay, that’s where I get most of mine.
